I've enjoyed photography for many years beginning with 35mm and medium format film. Now, most of my photography is done using digital cameras. A variety of landscape, seascape, and wildlife images will be found here. Additionally, I create videos using Photopia Director, Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve, Grass Valley Edius, Video Studio, and proDAD.
My Grandfather, Stephen Brod, was a tailor in Kansas City, Missouri. You'll find a gallery of photographed letters from President Harry S Truman addressed to my Grandfather. He made many suits for Mr. Truman when he was a U.S. Senator and continued to do so throughout President Truman's time in the White House. The majority of hand-tailored suits in storage or displayed at the Truman Library and Museum in Independence, Missouri were tailored by my Grandfather. On file at the Library is additional correspondence between my Grandfather and President Truman. Archived White House appointment logs show his visits to see President Truman at the White House in Washington, DC. All of this correspondence has now been donated to the Truman Library.
I previously lived full-time in a self-contained diesel motor coach (recreational vehicle), towed a Jeep, and traveled the country full-time. It's a lifestyle and a wonderful experience. I now have a house in Mesa, Arizona.
